Dr. Dilip Ukey

Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Ukey is the Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai. He previously served as Pro Vice-Chancellor and Acting Vice Chancellor of SRTM University, Nanded, and as Professor and Head of the Department of Law at Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has been a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and a UGC Fellow in France. A distinguished speaker, he has presented at major international conferences. He has served on committees of Universities, UGC, Public Service Commissions and Judges Selection Panels. His expertise lies in Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law and Administrative Law.

Prof. (Dr.) Amol Deo Chavhan is a distinguished legal academic and Professor of Law, serving as the Dean of Academics at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai. With over 15 years of teaching experience, he specializes in criminal law, torts and prison administration. He previously served as Professor at the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam, where he also held key administrative roles, including Proctor-cum-Provost and Director of IQAC. Dr. Chavhan holds a Ph.D. in Law from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University and has published extensively. He is frequently invited as a resource person and contributes actively to several academic and legal bodies.


Dr. Pratapsinh B. Salunke

Dr. Pratapsinh B. Salunke is the Officer on Special Duty to the Hon’ble ViceChancellor and Associate Dean at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai. He previously served as Associate Professor and Head, School of Law, Christ University, Pune Lavasa, and has held academic and administrative roles at leading law colleges in Pune, including In-charge Principal positions. With fourteen years of teaching experience, he specializes in Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Jurisprudence and Public Law. Dr. Salunke has published extensively, served on key academic bodies, and is regularly invited as a resource person for government training programmes and academic institutions Maharashtra.


Dr. Nanda Pardhey

Dr. Nanda Pardhey is an accomplished legal academic with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology Law and an LL.M. in Business Law and Science & Technology Law. Before joining MNLU Mumbai, she served as Associate Professor at UPES Dehradun and previously taught at NMIMS Mumbai, Nirma University, Amity Law School Mumbai, Sandip University Nashik and AURO University Surat has 12 plus years academic experience. A former practicing advocate in Nasik District Court. She specializes in Biotechnology, Medical,Constitutional, Family and Cyber Laws. Dr. Pardhey has over 37 publications in reputed national and international journals and frequently presents her research on emerging legal challenges shaped by technological, social and environmental change.


Dr. Amit Kumar

Dr. Amit Kumar, Assistant Professor of Law at MNLU Mumbai, also serves as Deputy Director of IQAC, member of SDC, and heads the Literary & Debating Society and CPHL. A Max Planck fellow, he has collaborated with MPI Munich and LMU. An alumnus of ILI and Delhi University, he has taught at DU and presented at major international forums. He has authored two books and published widely. He is a visiting faculty at prominent institutions like BSE Institute and NISM. His interests include health law, human rights, and comparative law. Formerly, he held key roles in government and corporations.


Dr. Abhijit Rohi

Dr. Abhijit Rohi is an Assistant Professor of Law at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai since 2016. Currently he is the Head of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Departments. Before joining MNLU Mumbai, he taught at the School of Law, Christ University, Bengaluru. He holds an LL.M. from NUJS Kolkata, where he received the Saroja Gopalkrishnan Scholarship, and a Ph.D. from NLSIU Bengaluru in Informational Privacy Law. His research examines the jurisprudential implications of emerging technologies on individual rights. Dr. Rohi teaches Privacy and Data Protection Law, Media Law, Intellectual Property Law, Human Rights Law, Jurisprudence and Family Law.
